Captain Garth holds a U.S. Coast Guard 100-Ton Master’s License and has over 30 years of experience on Penobscot Bay. As the former owner and operator of the historic schooner Lewis R. French, he spent years running charters and logging countless hours on these waters. He brings a calm, professional approach to every trip, with a strong focus on safety, reliability, and good seamanship. His deep familiarity with the bay, the islands, and changing coastal conditions ensures each run is well planned and well executed.

Coaster is an Axopar 37. The Axopar 37 is the ideal platform for efficient and comfortable transport on Penobscot Bay. Designed for the rugged waters of the North Sea, its advanced hull design and twin 350 hp engines deliver exceptional speed and stability, cruising comfortably at up to 40 knots. The enclosed pilot house can be heated, and comes equipped with cushioned seating for six, offering a quiet and protected ride in all weather conditions.
